Barielle Belly Dance

I ordered only two polishes from summer 2010 High Steppin' Collection. First one is Belly Dance which I will show you today and other one is Electric Boogie. I plan to wear second one in couple days. I need to say that both is really much haves and I really like to have them in my collection. Take at look at Belly Dance.

This is mushroomy color what was in fashion during last years but it's not dupe of any other polish I own or saw. Color reminds me cacao with a lot of milk but also has purple/mauve touch. Most special part is tiny silver shimmer which is visible in bright light. This shimmer is really nice thing to do color unique and not boring. Polish is well pigmented and applies easily. It's little bit on thick side and you may want to add couple drops of polish thinner. I put two coats with base and top from Seche Vite as usual.

Chanel Particuliere Comparison

I love taupe/mushroomy polishes. It's probably the largest group in my collection. So I just couldn't miss Chanel Particuliere even I have some similar shades.

I picked up
1. SpaRitual Sage
2. Butter London Fash Pack
3. OPI Over the Taupe
4. Chanel Particuliere
5. Essie Mink Muffs
6. Orly Prince Charming
7. OPI You don't know Jacques!

From this group 4 most close to Chanel Particuliere were SpaRitual Sage, Butter London Fash Pack and OPI Over the Taupe

So I tried those on my nails. Look at swatches

Fash Pack is more yellow and Over the Taupe is considerably darker. SpaRitual Sage is almost dupe. But I love quality of Particuliere better. It's 2 coats but even 1 coat was good enough. Sage required 3 coats to look good. So I absolutely don't regret that I bought Particuliere.
